Betdaq is the younger brother of betfair, and that is due to a lack of liquidity. Betdaq could become a good competitor for Betfair because the difference between commissions. I use Betdaq just because sometimes I can find some markets there, not covered by Betfair. If you are a trader you must chose Betfair, but if you want to steal some bonus, Betdaq offers nice freeplay. No problems with withdrawing or bonus.

You can be the bookie or the punter here, ie you can back results or lay them to lose, be careful of your liability as they risk may be too great and too much in the punter's favour, if you're a punter and can get a layer to pay you odds in your favour (which isn't difficult) and staking plan and you should come out in profit. I give it a 5 stars as for its unique thing of letting you be bookie or punter. My only question, where the heck's the search box???

Not quite as good as betfair but offering a nice sign up bonus at the moment, but if betting on some less popular football games, it can be hard to find a match especially if you bet large amounts. But otherwise on the more popular bets very good, especially if you like small stakes, they will let you go as small as 50p unlike betfair who only lets you bet £2 minimum stakes.

Always lovely to talk to irish lady who sounds like gloria honeyford I always get on the phone when I call them up. Although it lacks a chat module, it's not a problem as she always gives me such wonderful service, first time I used them, she gave me 30 pounds bonus for using their site for first time. Now the real beauty of this site is not so much the fact you can back and lay, but the fact you can get the best odds alongside betfair you'll ever come across as a backer, the sort of odds that will bring you out in profit much more so than with the bookies using a sound staking plan that allows for the longer than expected losing run. Betdaq don't have any problem or resentment with you making money out of them as they just make their monies on commissions and have no interest in the result. For this I give them a full 5 marks, but avoid for laying unless you have the self discipline to set a bookies rate liability and stick strictly to it irrespective of whether you get matched or not, otherwise you'll just be funding a punter's big win at an overall loss to yourself, but again for backers odds a full 5 marks.

Their back odds are really superb and I mean superb, they don't mind if you win and make a profit because they're not the ones paying, the one paying is the other person you're betting against. Despite the fact that laying to lose might seem like an easy option though, bear in mind the punter often asks for prices that are absurdly unrealistic by a normal bookie's standards and when the punter wins, he will have recuperated all previous losses and made a nice little profit at your expense. But for punters it's the place to bet and as such I have to award a full 5 marks.

Overall with a careful thought out staking plan allowing for the long losing run should it occur, given that odds are 20£ better than bookies, and the 5% tax, you could realistically hope to make about 15% profit overall on your betting as a punter. You can back and lay, but unlike the traditional punter to bookie relationship, the punter here is at the advantage of the layer (effectively a one man bookie) or opponent in the game of betting, whatever way you look at it. As a place to be a punter definitely a 5.

On account of the fact you can lay to lose and back to win, something no bookies offer (this is an exchange not a bookie) they just make money in commission on winnings bets, I give them a very generous 4 points. If you are backing odds, they are 20 per cent better than you'd ever get in betting shop or bookies website. Be careful about laying though, go on to oddsmaker and only lay anything that's the same or less than the bookies are offering, that way you can earn regular income as a kind of small scale, one man band bookie. Failing that you can use your skills to predict results and take a bigger gamble, but you have a fighting chance of turning over a profit due to the good odds. When I use them to lay I always use oddschecker to ensure I'm not paying more than the risk is worth and recommend you do the same. This keeps my account in profit, but you'd be amazed at the amount of people who just think if I got paid for every loser I'd back (type you meet in corals) and try and make a profit and fail to do so as they just don't understand that they're taking on odds too high in relation to their winnings chance, but if you can grasp this concept or just stick to backing, it's the best place to bet, second only to betfair who are only better because they have a search box, whereas betdaq doesn't.

If you're a professional back gambler or even a novice backer who just wants a better deal, why not use betdaq, they're doing a 200 pounds promo and the best sort of odds anywhere as you are just betting against novice, one man band amateur bookmakers (or other more pessimistic gamblers to be more precise) who just think it'll lose, who have no idea how to make laying profitable like a professional bookies firm would, leaving a huge opportunity for backers to actually come out on top with a good, well spread out (not putting all eggs in 1 basket) staking plan and a bit of knowledge of form reading, etc. Don't forget you've got to pay commission of between 2. 9 and 5 % though so factor that into your calcs. If you fancy yourself as bookie though, like I say it's better for backing, it's mug bookie, NOT mug punter on this site.

The place to bet if you're a punter who wants the best odds on the market. You can also lay a selection if you think it's going to lose, but be careful here as the odds tend to be to the punter's advantage, or too much is being asked by the punter in relation to the risk, try for a price you would be prepared to pay if you were a bookie yourself (as that's exactly what you are when laying) and stick by it and hope it gets matched, if it doesn't, it doesn't but that way in long run you'll profit like most bookies invariably do. For punters though it's about the best place to go, so gets top marks from me.

Jointly with Betfair and WBX you usually get the best odds, this pushes my rating of them to 5, however I have deducted a point and reduced it to 4 because the person who designed their website forgot to add a search box, so you have to trawl around to get the bet you were looking for. Don't bother laying though, if I was asked to rate them from that persepective they'd only get a 1 as most lay odds are very much in the punters favour, generally speaking, but for punters it's a close rival to Betfair for odds so they get a four from me.

They offer punters the best odds you'll ever get anywhere. For doubling up until you win on favourites, as long as you've got the funds to withstand the odd losing run or creditworthiness to get emergency funding in such drastic circumstances you could make a very good living doing this as the odds are to the punter's advantage and is done by undercutting someone else who sometimes may be wanting a ridiculous 1000/1 for an outcome that has a 1 in 4 chance of winning, he may not have cat in hell's chance of getting matched, but undercut it to say asking 7 to 1 on it and someone who fancies himself as bookie but hasn't got the mathematical skill to know he's on a loser in the long run and you've got yourself a nice little earner going. If it wasn't for this downside I'd give them a 5 but as exchanges like this offer best prices to punters they still get a 4 which is a superb rating still.

I'm giving it only a 3, because it didn't have a search box to find bets and one had to phone in order to get the bonus that should have gone through automatically, but they were very apologetic and credited it straight away when I did. Quick easy payouts, could do with live chat but easy enough to deal with over the phone, had to phone them to get paid, but paid instantly when I did, all in all I'd recommend betfair though as an alterntive.
