Stake has launched its Score First, You Win promotion for the FIFA World Cup 2026 knockout stage. Players who back a team in the 1X2 market can still win their bet if the selected team scores the opening goal, even if it eventually loses the match.

How it works

  • Place a pre-match single bet on the World Cup 1X2 (90’ + Stoppage Time) market
  • If your selected team scores the first goal of the match
  • But goes on to lose
  • Stake will settle your bet as a winner

Significant Terms

  • Promotion runs from July 8, 2026 to July 22, 2026
  • Applies to FIFA World Cup Quarter Finals and later matches
  • Valid on pre-match single bets only
  • Eligible market: 1X2 (90’ + Stoppage Time)
  • Only goals scored in regular time count
  • Extra-time and penalty shootout goals are excluded
  • Only the first qualifying bet per match, customer, and household counts
  • Bets must be placed before kick-off
  • Maximum stake: $100
  • Maximum payout: $250
  • Cashed-out bets do not qualify
  • Void bets do not qualify
  • Betting on related markets may result in disqualification
  • Winnings are credited within 24 hours
  • Stake reserves the right to modify or cancel the promotion
