One of the most anticipated sporting events of the year is just around the corner – the UEFA Champions League Final 2025, PSG vs Inter. This year’s final will be held on Saturday, 31 May 2025 (21:00 CET), at the Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany, promising a night of high quality football and an unforgettable atmosphere.
Host venue
The Allianz Arena in Munich (owned by Bayern Munich) opened in 2005 as a unique state-of-the-art stadium. It is one of the few venues selected for two consecutive Euro tournament, UEFA Euro 2020 and UEFA Euro 2024.
PSG vs Inter
The 2025 UEFA Champions League Final will see PSG face Inter Milan in what will most likely be a highly intense match.
PSG reached the final after a composed performance against Arsenal, winning 3-1 on aggregate in the semi-finals. Under Luis Enrique the French side is trying to win its first Champions League title.
Inter Milan, managed by Simone Inzaghi, secured their place in the final after a dramatic tie against Barcelona, winning 7-6 on aggregate after extra time, with Davide Frattesi scoring the decisive goal. Inter is looking to lift their fourth European Cup, their first since 2010.
Trophy
The two teams will compete for the UEFA Champions League trophy, one of the most iconic symbols in the world football. The trophy was created in 1967 by Jürg Stadelmann and it took 340 hours to complete (it stands 73.5 cm tall and weighs around 7.5 kg).
The winner will be awarded a full-size replica, while only a few clubs in history (Real Madrid, Ajax, Bayern Munchen, AC Milan, and Liverpool) have been allowed to keep a special version of the trophy permanently, thanks to repeated success under UEFA’s former “five wins or three in a row” rule.
