| Once upon a time Kambi (Unibet's sportsbook provider) used to be somewhat reasonable. These days they are probably the worst on the market. As soon as you win your first bet, you will be limited to 10% of the maximum stake. Win a second and they will limit you to 1%. I could understand these decisions if you were betting on obscure markets, but even if you just bet on match winners in big leagues such as the English Premier League, La Liga and the Bundesliga, they still apply the limits. It wouldn't be so bad if they increased the limits when you lose a bet, but unfortunately they don't do that. With this lot you could lose 1000 bets before winning your first bet and you would still have your maximum stake cut to 10% simply for winning a bet. On the plus side, you are able to bet over the limit by referring bets to their traders. 9 times out of 10 these will be accepted, which means they are wasting their own time by approving bets you could have just placed if you weren't limited. This generally isn't worth it though as there's always the 1/10 chance that your bet will be declined and they frequently take 15-20 minutes to approve a bet. Probably because they have limited practically every single customer! |

| I've just signed up with Unibet. Deposited £40 and then got asked to verify my account. I sent them my passport and 2 forms of proof of address (a utility bill being one of them) and a picture of my card. The next email said: 'Your documentation has been reviewed, but I am afraid it has been declined, therefore the account is closed on a permanent basis and the funds within the account are also frozen. I am sorry for this decision, but it is final and not something that we at customer service can overturn. ' With no explanation or warning. All this within 2 hours of me opening the account. Stay away as I've heard online they have done this randomly to people with a lot more than £40 in their account. |

| Have been taking deposits for ages and the minute I tried to withdraw all of a sudden they needed to verify my ID. I don't mind this as such if it was a simple process but it's not. And add to the fact that they didn't have to verify to take multiple withdrawals then it's not good. |
