Paroli betting system

PAROLI BETTING SYSTEM

The Paroli betting system is a positive betting progression, similar to Parlay betting system, which is also known as "Anti-Martingale" or "Reverse Martingale". Like Martingale, the Paroli betting system was first created to be used as a betting strategy for roulette and baccarat, but later it started to be applied on sports betting also.

The "Anti-Martingale" term says all, because the Paroli betting system is exactly the true opposite of the well-known Martingale strategy. If in Martingale a bettor needs to double each stake when he loses, in Paroli a bettor would need to double each stake when he wins.

When using the Paroli betting system, a bettor must choose from the beginning the starting unit value and the number of steps needed to wager in a row before getting back to the starting unit. For example, a bettor can decide that he wants to win only 3 bets in a row in order to reach the target and the starting unit to be $1. For each winning bet the stake will be doubled, while for each lost bet the bettor will return to the starting unit.

Example:

o First bet: $1 stake. Won.
o Second bet: $1 x 2 = $2 stake. Won.
o Third bet: $2 x 2 = $4 stake. Won.

At this point, considering that the bettor placed bets on odds of evens (2.00) or greater and managed to win 3 bets in a row, it means that he has at least $7 profit (7 times higher than the starting unit). Once the target was reached, the bettor must start again with $1 unit.

o Forth bet: $1. Lost.

Because the bet was lost, the bettor will need to stake again the starting unit.

o Fifth bet: $1. Lost.
o Sixth bet: $1. Won.

The last bet was a winner, therefore the bettor will need to double the stake and try to obtain again three consecutive wins in a row.

As you can see, Paroli isn't a difficult betting system - in fact it's quite easy and it's recommended to the bettors with a small bankroll who are looking to place small stakes and earn large profits. The risks of using this betting strategy are lower than using Martingale, because Paroli uses only your profits.

At the end of the day, the Paroli betting system can be an excellent betting strategy for any type of bettor because it manages to grow the profit and cut down the losses. But, in order for it to be successful, a bettor must carefully analyze each bet and set an accessible target (such as 3 or maximum 4 winning bets in a row).
