Ukash

UKASH

Founded in 2005 in UK, Ukash has rapidly managed to become a very important electronic payment method in all over the world. One by one, most of the important websites, have accepted and added this payment method, including online betting websites (such as: Bet-at-home, BetVictor, Vbet and many others).

Some may find Ukash very similar to paysafecard, because practically it's still a prepaid voucher/card with a 19 digit code (instead of 16 - from paysafecard) which can be used on any website that accepts Ukash as a payment method. Indeed, they are similar from this point of view, but Ukash offers more possibilities than paysafecard:

1. Unlike paysafecard which can be used only for deposits, Ukash can be used for withdrawals also (therefore, you can withdraw via Ukash from an online bookmaker by receiving a 19 digit code voucher with the amount you've requested).

2. Once you've bought a paysafecard, the only way to use it is to deposit it on a betting website or buy different things or services from online shops. Ukash also gives you the possibility to withdraw the money.

3. With Mastercard repower you can transfer money from Ukash to a Mastercard prepaid card.

4. While paysafecard can be bought only from local sale points, Ukash can also be bought online.

Ukash is available at over 420,000 sale points (PayPoint or Payzone) from all over the world and you also have the possibility to find out the nearest sale point by using the store locator (from the Ukash website). There's also a special app available for both Android and iOS, if you want to install it on your smartphone or tablet.

Probably one of the most interesting things when using Ukash is that you can divide a Ukash voucher in several vouchers (with lower values), but you can also combine more vouchers into a single one. Also, in case you want to deposit to a specific online bookmaker that accepts only USD (and your Ukash is in EUR) - you can use a conversion tool to convert your funds from EUR to USD.

Ukash remains a great electronic payment option because it's easy to use, safe, you don't have to share your bank details and you can buy it from almost everywhere. If you want just to buy a Ukash voucher and use it online you don't need to share any personal details, but if you want to use all Ukash services - you'll need to register a special account on the Ukash website and even verify your identity.

As you can see, Ukash represents a great alternative for paysafecard and other popular online payment methods.
