BETTING RETURNS

One of the "tricks" used by bettors in order to decrease the risks of losing is to search for online bookmakers who provide types of bets which return the stake (partially or totally) in case a bet isn't winner. In this article we'll talk about these types of bets and the online bookmakers who offer them.

We'll start with one of the most popular bets which returns the stake in case of an undesirable outcome: DNB = Draw No Bet. This bet is available at most bookies, including Bet365, William Hill, Paddy Power, Unibet, BetVictor, Ladbrokes, 888Sport, Betclic. A DNB is available for sports with 3 outcomes such as football (1 X 2) and it's used in order to eliminate the risk of a draw and make the chances (at least theoretically) to be 50-50. In case of a draw, the stake is returned to the player.

For example, in a match like Zenit Petersburg vs Atletico Madrid, the 1 X 2 odds are 2.10, 3.30, and 3.50. If a bettor decided to bet 10 units on Zenit Petersburg to win, he would have a 11 units profit in case of winning. But in this case, a draw would make him lose the 10 units stake, therefore - in order to eliminate this risk, the bettor can place a bet on Zenit Petersburg to win DNB at odds of 1.50. By placing a DNB, the bettor will get only 5 units profit in case of winning (instead of 11 units) and he will have his stake returned in case of a draw.

Another type of bet which returns the stake is AH +1. Let's say that a bettor thinks that Atletico Madrid has chances to win or make a draw in the match against Zenit, but he has some doubts. If he placed 10 units on X2 Atletico Madrid (1.75 odds), he would have a 7.5 units profit, but if Zenit wins with one goal difference, then the bettor would lose his 10 units stake. In order to remove this risk, a bettor could place an AH +1 bet (1.35 odds) on Atletico Madrid and in case of losing at 1 goal difference, he'll get his stake back.

If a bettor wants to place an under/over bet on goals, he can use the classic types of bets - such as under/over 0.5, 1.5, 2.5, 3.5 which have 50-50 chances or he can search for special bets such as: under/over 2.75 or under/over 3.0. If a bettor places a bet on over 3.5 goals and there are scored only 3 goals, then the bet is lost. On the other hand, if a bettor places a bet on over 3.0 goals and there are scored only 3 goals, then the bet is refunded. Unfortunately, bets like under/over 3.0 are very rare nowadays at online bookmakers, but sometimes these can be found at the Asian online bookmakers (such as Dafabet, 12Bet or Sbobet).

There are many other types of bets, especially on AH (Asian Handicaps), which return your stake partially or totally in case your bet isn't winner. The difficult part is to find online bookmakers who offer these types of bets and also the highest odds. If you want to place bets with lower risks, then these types of bets are the best for you, but you need to keep in mind the fact that the profits are also lower.

In conclusion, betting on tennis is really easy nowadays because you have a big variety of online bookmakers offering tennis markets, live video streaming, live betting and extraordinary odds.
